Optical Fiber Transmission Spectrometer
 
 
API offers the Monolight Fiber Optical Transmission Spectrometer. The instrument is designed to measure the transmission of multimode fibers or fiber bundles. The instrument is modular and can be configured to meet the users production or quality control tasks.
The system can make spectral measurements from 180-2000nm in 80ms. The instrument is computer based and the software displays the transmission and ab-sorption results in either a logarithmic(decibel) or a linear(per cent) scale. The modular approach allows for the choice of light sources and their power supplies, detectors including TEC cooled detectors and fiber couplings. Our engineering staff can always help you configure the instrument to your application.

The Monolight Fiber Optical Transmission Spectrometer can measure either individual fibers or fiber bundles. The instrument is supplied with a complete ÒTurnkeyÓ object oriented software package operating under Windows 95. The software program can control all instrument functions as well as data management and data reduction.
